The Parweld Edge range of cups significantly improves quality and weld visibility through high-performance glass cups. Extensive development and testing provides outstanding gas coverage, without resorting to heavy oversized gas lenses.
Laminar Flow Series
The laminar flow series is the most advanced welding cup on the market. Through fluid dynamics, design, and scientific testing we have been able to create totally smooth (laminar) gas flow which is not achieved with standard ceramic cups. The Laminar flow series exceeds what is possible with standard cup and gas lens combinations by improving gas coverage. This allows longer stick outs and reduction in the gas flow rates without compromising gas coverage. Creating perfect rainbow finishes to your welds.
Laminar Flow Edge Cups have a unique design with enhanced profile and built in diffuser. They provide turbulence free laminar flow with
exceptional gas coverage for DC TIG welding. Up to 75mm tungsten projection is possible.
Manufactured from laboratory-grade borosilicate glass and oven annealed to ensure the life of the cup is maximised.
Max DC rating is 180A, unless you are using pulse, then the max current can be higher. For AC welding only use #10 or #12 cups with a low duty cycle.

Shorty
Ideal for where space is restricted the shorty cups increase accessibility but still delivers significant improvements over a standard ceramic combination.
These oversized cups are designed for outstanding gas coverage for DC TIG welding. The shorter cup
allows enhanced control of the torch and improved access without compromising gas coverage.
Max DC rating is 180A unless using pulse, then the max current can be higher. For AC welding only, use low duty cycle. Cup walking will
shorten the life of the cups. DO NOT exceed 90A with 1.6mm or diffuser damage may occur.

Perfect for heavy-duty applications, Quartz cups handle the heat much better making them ideal for tough DC applications and AC welding.
These cups are designed for improved performance in high heat AC and DC TIG welding applications. Made from Quartz glass, these cups outperform borosilicate glass
type cups.
Max rating is 350A for DC TIG Welding and 270A for AC TIG Welding. Cup walking and extended welding periods will shorten the life of the
cup. DO NOT exceed 90A with 1.6mm or diffuser damage may occur.
