The Importance Of A Welding Helmet
Exposure to any welding application without appropriate PPE for any length of time can result in serious injuries to the welder. Even in short welding processes such as Tack Welding, can cause severe eyesight problems (potential sight loss in extreme cases) and burns to the user due to harmful UV rays, commonly referred to as “Welders Flash”. Welding Helmets such as the XR942H and XR943H provide the ultimate protection from flash ultra violet light, sparks and the strong heat that occurs during welding. Parweld provide auto-darkening helmets allowing the shade of the visor to adjust to the light emitted by the arc of the weld. This offers a balance of both eye safety whilst presenting precise vision and visibility of the workpiece.
