The year 2014 marked a major milestone with the arrival of the XP8 G2. These second-generation torches introduced a completely redesigned, upgraded handle system engineered with cutting-edge ergonomics in mind. By studying welder movement, our design team integrated a specific morphology that allows for a neutral wrist position. This anatomical alignment significantly reduces the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) during long, demanding shifts. By minimising muscle strain and joint stress, the XP8 G2 doesn’t just protect the welder’s health—it also ensures consistent weld quality and higher productivity from the first hour of a shift to the last.

As with our standard XP8, every component is engineered and manufactured to the highest specification. The system is fully compatible with standard XP8 front-end consumables, delivering industry-leading performance and service life. Additionally, the XP8 Push-Pull offers a wide range of neck lengths and bend angles. Available in both air- and water-cooled models, it features a fully rotating neck for multi-positional welding in confined spaces, significantly improving welder comfort and reducing fatigue.
