PRO-Fume

Welding Torches From Parweld

Innovative Fume Extraction Welding Torches, available in both air and water-cooled versions, have been meticulously designed and engineered to meet the highest industrial standards. The PRO-FUME range sets a new benchmark for operator protection, seamlessly integrating powerful fume extraction capabilities with the robust performance and reliability that welders expect from Parweld.

The PRO-Fume torch features a built-in extraction shroud located at the nozzle. This creates a localised vacuum that captures welding fumes at the source—before they enter the welder’s breathing zone—without compromising the shielding gas coverage.

Why Use Fume Extraction Torches?

WELDING FUMES ARE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH AND HAVE BEEN LINKED TO LUNG CANCER.
It is essential that you are using the best protection and performance available to remove welding fumes from the working environment. PAPR filter systems provide protection for the welder by cleaning the air they are welding but do not reduce the volume of fume in the air and so do not provide protection to the welder when they are setting up or doing other operations. Fume extraction must be part of any protection strategy, for a welder working in fixed locations extraction hoods are effective but rely on the welder to ensure the hood is in the correct position to remove the fumes. For anyone working in a mixed manufacturing environment or where they move around the fabrication then on torch fume extraction is the perfect solution.

MIG/MAG Fume Extraction

Parweld PRO-FUME MIG/MAG Welding Torch

Superior Grip Handle
Our grip handle is designed with our tried and tested
grip geometry and the handle size has been kept to a
minimum without reducing the vacuum and flow volume.
The perfect grip is combined with the balance and as low
weight as possible by using inventive component design.

Large Thumb Operated Vent
We have included a thumb adjustable sliding vent
to allow vacuum regulation when required; for example
reducing front end suction when in tight corners.

Sealed Ball Joint
Our standard handle ball joint has been adapted
so that it is fully sealed, minimising vacuum losses,
at the same time as increasing manoeuvrability
for the welder.

Large Open Suction Nozzle
A large opening suction nozzle design
ensures maximum volume of flow at the front
end. Removing welding fume most efficiently.

Puncture Resistant Hose
Flexible and puncture resistance hosing has been used along the torch length.
And we have stepped the size along the harness to increase vacuum suction
at the front of the torch.

Leather Cover Protection
Protective leather cover on the torch end hose, eliminates
hose punctures from hot sparks and sharp edges.

Rotatable Vacuum Hose Connection Outlet
At the machine end there is a rotatable outlet for perfect positioning of the hose connection
towards the extraction unit. Joints are fully sealed to minimise vacuum losses. And a standard
2” (51mm) size connection can be adapted to other hose sizes with hose connector options.

Parweld PRO-FUME MIG/MAG Welding Torch

Reduced component size and weight, reduces flow restriction

Lightweight With Enhanced Ergonomics

PRO-Fume torches are designed with balance and weight in mind to reduce operator fatigue. The torch handles are designed to sit naturally in the operator’s hand, without sharp corners or edges that could create stress points. Reducing cases of RSI and improving operator performance.

Thumb Operated Vent Control

The Vent Control is perfectly placed on top of the handle for single-handed operation

MIG/MAG Fume Torch Extraction Chamber

Durable Extraction Chamber

Aluminium extraction chamber ensures durability, heat resistance and no loss of extraction

Thumb Operated Vent Control

The Vent Control is perfectly placed on top of the handle for single-handed operation

Parweld PRO-FUME MIG/MAG Extended Torch Neck

Extended Neck Options Available

Standard Necks (PFExx00) feature a 50° angle and 127mm length, whilst the Extended Neck Option (PFExx85) provides a 45° angle with 216mm.
Extended Necks allow for Ease of Reach, when welding in narrow gaps.

TIG Fume Extraction

Unique Design
Allows for flexible torch heads to be
used for extra versatility with positioning.

Secure Fume Extraction Sleeve
Fitted to a standard torch body and
secured in position by the gas lens cup.

Additional Ventilation
The ergonomic handle features
additional vents to reduce heat buildup.

Superior Grip Handle
Our grip handle is designed with our tried and tested
grip geometry and the handle size has been kept to a
minimum without reducing user control.
The perfect grip is combined with the balance and as low
weight as possible by using inventive component design.

PRO Switch Configurations
By utilising our coveted PRO-Grip Handle system, this allows
for setups of our various PRO Switch configurations.

Leather Cover Protection
Protective Puncture Resistant Leather, eliminates
hose punctures from hot sparks and sharp edges.

PRO-FUME FAQs

PRO-FUME

No. The PRO-Fume range is engineered with optimised internal aerodynamics. It is designed to extract harmful particulates while maintaining a stable laminar flow of shielding gas, ensuring your weld pool remains protected and porosity-free.

While fume extraction torches are slightly larger due to the extraction hose, the PRO-FUME series focuses on ergonomics. We utilise:

  • Leather-covered cable leads for flexibility.

  • Reduced weight handles to minimise wrist fatigue.

  • 360° swivel joints at the base of the handle for maximum maneuverability.

The PRO-Fume torches are compatible with most high-vacuum (Hi-Vac) extraction units. For optimal performance, we recommend a unit capable of handling the flow requirements specific to the torch amperage (e.g., 250A vs. 450A models).

Yes. In many regions (such as the UK under LEV regulations), on-torch extraction is considered one of the most effective methods for controlling exposure to manganese and hexavalent chromium, helping your facility meet workplace exposure limits.

Very easy. The PRO-Fume range uses standard Parweld high-performance consumables. The extraction shroud can be quickly adjusted or removed for maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime during tip or shroud changes.
