The separate wire feeder carries all the controls (with the exception of voltage adjustment), so it is easy to fine tune the welding operation without having to return to the power source. The separate wire feed unit also provides flexibility when working with large fabrications or where access is restricted. The XTM 404S has a DC Output and when combined with the correct wire it is suitable for welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The machine is ideal for welding materials from 1.5mm to 10mm.
