What's Inside?
We’ve expanded and refined our safety lineup to ensure maximum comfort, compliance, and protection. Here are some of the key highlights:
New Ifr Additions
Safety starts with reliable protection. Our expanded range includes new Inherently Flame-Retardant (IFR) options designed for long-lasting durability and maximum heat resistance, work after work, wash after wash.
As part of our premier Panther range, these garments combine high-level protection with ergonomic design so you can move freely without compromising safety.

Premium heat-resistant mid-layer offering excellent flame protection, ergonomic daily comfort, and essential warmth across demanding shifts.
The addition of our new Inherently Flame-Retardant (IFR) clothing represents a major step forward in Parweld's PPE range. Built into our premier Panther line, the new IFR garments offer permanent, wash-after-wash protection that won't wear off over time. We’ve designed them to deliver heavy-duty heat and flame resistance while maintaining the ergonomic flexibility and comfort welders need during long shifts in demanding environments.
Protective Clothing
From heavy-duty workshop tasks to everyday welding & fabrication, full-body protection is essential. Our protective clothing range covers every angle to guard against heat, radiant energy, and sparks:
Gauntlets For Heavy Welding & Hot Work
When heat and heavy spatter are part of the daily routine, you need gloves built to take the punishment.
Our heavy-duty gauntlet range covers the most demanding applications. Engineered using high-grade, heat resistant leather and reinforced stitching, these gauntlets deliver maximum insulation against extreme heat and welding spatter while maintaining a firm grip.
Gloves For TIG & Light Welding
Precision work demands a delicate touch. Our professional-quality light welding gloves feature a close-cut design for a snug fit, giving operators enhanced dexterity for precise torch control.
Handling Gloves
Hand protection extends beyond the welding torch. Our general handling gloves provide a vital barrier against day-to-day workshop hazards, including abrasion, sharp edges, and chemical exposures.
Selecting the right glove comes down to assessing your specific workplace risks. Whether you need high-cut resistance, chemical protection, or lightweight flexibility, our range adheres to rigorous safety standards to keep hands protected across every task.
At Parweld, continuous improvement in welder safety is at the core of everything we do. From our expanded Inherently Flame-Retardant (IFR) Panther garments to application-specific gauntlets, every item in this new catalogue has been engineered for maximum protection without compromising on comfort or dexterity. Whether you’re handling heavy fabrication or precision TIG work, our updated safety lineup ensures you have the right gear for the job.

Catalogue Structure Changes
New Icons
Selecting the correct PPE can be a difficult task, multiple standards classifications and ratings make it difficult to compare products and ensure the right level of protection, throughout this new catalogue we have implemented new ICONs against each product to make it clear and easy to identify the correct product.
Product Standards
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (as assimilated into UK law) sets out the essential health and safety requirements that must be met before PPE products can be placed on the EU and GB market. The purpose of the legislation is to ensure safe and effective products are placed on the market by requiring manufacturers to show how their products meet the ‘essential health and safety requirements’. The Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018 provide a system for the enforcement of the 2016 Regulation in the UK and the EU Regulation on Market Surveillance 2019/1020 enforces it within the EU and NI.
EN 388Â is the European standard used to assess protective gloves against mechanical risks, providing a clear performance rating for abrasion, blade cut, tear, puncture and, where applicable, impact protection. Each glove is marked with a pictogram followed by a series of numbers and letters that indicate its performance levels in these tests, helping users quickly understand the level of protection offered.
EN ISO 13997 TDMÂ cut test for more accurate cut-resistance assessment, ensuring gloves are correctly matched to real-world hazards. Overall, the standard gives manufacturers and users a consistent, reliable way to evaluate mechanical protection and select the right glove for the job.
This standard tests 6 separate mechanical performance measures of a glove, namely: abrasion resistance, blade cut resistance, tear resistance, puncture resistance, TDM cut resistance, and impact protection. Criteria A–D are mandatory, E & F are optional tests, and there are two methods for testing cut resistance (B: Circular disc method, or E: TDM Cut straight blade).

EN 407 is the European standard that defines the testing and performance requirements for gloves designed to protect against thermal risks such as heat, flames, and molten metal. It evaluates six key hazards with each test rated on a scale from 0 to 4, where higher scores indicate stronger protection. This standard specifies thermal performance for protective gloves against heat and/or fire. The nature and degree of protection is shown by a series of six performance level ratings.

Defines the safety and performance requirements for welding gloves, combining the mechanical protection tests of EN 388:2016+A1:2018 and EN ISO 21420:2020+A1:2024 with the thermal protection requirements of EN 407 to ensure reliable defence against heat, sparks, molten metal, and mechanical hazards.
- Type A: Offers higher heat and mechanical protection for heavier welding tasks.
- Type B: Provides greater dexterity for precision work such as TIG welding.
The core European standard that defines general requirements for all protective gloves, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and fit for purpose across all PPE categories. It sets out essential criteria for glove design and construction, material innocuousness, sizing, dexterity, and user documentation.
Ensures materials do not release harmful substances—such as excessive chromium VI, nickel, azo dyes, DMFa, or PAHs—and that gloves allow natural hand movement. It also introduces mandatory manufacturing dates and clear user instructions.
Product Guides
In line with our commitment to streamlining the customer experience—as seen with our Welding Torches and Power Source Machines—we have introduced dedicated product selection guides for this category. Selecting the right PPE can be challenging, which is why these new resources feature detailed, side-by-side specification tables. By presenting critical data points like comfort, resistance capabilities, and cuff dimensions in an easy-to-read format, we empower users to make informed, efficient decisions. Whether you are looking for maximum durability or application-specific performance, these guides eliminate the guesswork and point you directly to the optimal solution.
Enhanced Measuring Guide
Selecting the correct glove size is essential for comfort, performance, and safety. Gloves that are too tight can cause fatigue, while oversized gloves may reduce dexterity and control.
For best results, refer to the sizing chart. Always measure your dominant hand. For example, if you are right-handed, measure your right hand using the guide below to determine the most suitable size.
Please note that hand measurements do not guarantee a perfect fit due to natural variations in hand shape and finger length. Some users may prefer gloves that are half or even a full size larger or smaller than their measured size for improved comfort. For tasks requiring high levels of precision or dexterity, a slightly closer fit is often preferred.
